They Score You Score Terms & Conditions

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. ‘They Score You Score’ is a free to participate game that you can play within the Carling Tap app. You can read the rules and surface players on the web, but you need to download the app to play. 2. In order to play ‘TSYS’ you must submit your “favourite 2017/18 Premier League Club” the first time you play ‘They Score You Score’. Your team preference will then be stored for all future games however, you can change this in your preferences.

3. Access to ‘They Score You Score’ is only possible by installing the Carling Tap app on your mobile device.

4. ‘They Score You Score’ can be accessed in Carling Tap via the bottom navigation bar.

5. ‘They Score You Score’ will be made available for you to play once the starting line-up for any UK televised Premier League Match is announced, and participants can play at any point during the match. Please note paragraph 10 below – the earlier you participate, the better your chances of winning a prize.

6. Once the line-up is announced and you have entered ‘They Score You Score’ to play, you will be given 2 players at random from a televised Premier League match, one player from each side that are playing that Premier League Match. The players may play in any position. Goalkeepers are excluded. All players under 18 are excluded.

7. Only one player can be chosen per televised match.

8. Users can only play They Score, You Score on one Carling Tap account per device per game.

9. If the player you have chosen scores a goal during that Premier League Match you will either win a prize or entry into a prize draw for a chance to win one of our ‘VIP prizes’.

10. You will not be eligible for prizes from goals scored before you participate.

11. If you have won a prize or entry into a prize draw, you will be alerted to click a button to claim your prize or entry into a prize draw via your chosen preference; SMS, email, or Push Notifications* soon after your chosen player scores.

12. The “VIP Prize draw entry” presents as a voucher, which briefly describes the prize available. There is an ‘info’ button on the voucher, which tells you to add your details, how to enter the prize draw, when the winners will be selected and how to redeem your prize. You will have 48 hours to claim the prize draw voucher and each voucher contains a date by which you must complete your details in order to be included within the prize draw. All fields to add your details must be fully and correctly completed to be entered into the prize draw.

13. Users that have entered the VIP prize draw that have not won the VIP prize will not be notified'.

14. Once you have claimed a prize or entry into a prize draw you will see a voucher in your wallet. All prizes will have a redemption expiration date. It is the winner’s responsibility to check the expiration date in the individual prize terms and conditions section to ensure they claim their prize in time. In this context “redeemed” you have provided the required information and submitted this. Vouchers will show a submitted or entered status in your wallet when this has been completed. Please refer to ‘General Prize Terms and Conditions’. If a prize is not claimed within the prescribed time period, then prize entitlement is forfeit.

15. If the player you have chosen does not score a goal you will not win a prize.

16. You will win one prize or entry into a prize draw every time your chosen player scores a goal during that televised match.

17. If your chosen player gets injured between the line up being announced, or during the Premier League Match and can no longer play you are unable to choose another player.

18. All They Score You Score games are free to play.

19. If there is more than one Premier League match being televised at the same time, one will be chosen as the featured game to be played on TSYS and the other one, users cannot play.
 

1. Only open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.

2. Purchases will be necessary if you win a free 4 pack of Carling or £2 off Carling 4 pack as you will be required to purchase and claim cash back. There is no purchase necessary to play ‘They Score You Score’ or for any other prize wins.

3. For the 2017/2018 season, this promotion begins on 11/08/17 and closes on the last game of the season.

4. All Prizes are as stated only (and includes delivery of physical prizes only). The prize winners are responsible for all other expenses incurred in connection with the Prize, including travel and accommodation expenses.

5. Your chosen club will not affect your chances of winning tickets as prizes, however, it will affect which Premier League tickets you are eligible to win (we don’t expect you would want to win tickets sitting on the away side when your favourite team play). If you win, you will be asked which fixture you would like tickets for.

6. No cash or other alternatives in part or full will be offered in lieu of the specified prizes. Prizes are not transferable.

7. By entering participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. All entry instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions.

8. Subject to availability of the Carling Tap app, and your data connection. All data charges are your responsibility. Otherwise, entry to all promotions is free.

9. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoters reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

10. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, alter or terminate this promotion at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.

11. The Promoter reserves the right to amend and alter the prize pool at any time.

12. All prize giveaways will be allocated at random.

13. The Prize quantities are correct at time of publishing. The Promoter may increase the total prize pool, but the stated quantities below shall be the minimum quantity available from the beginning of the promotion.

14. The Promoter's decision is binding in all matters.

15. The promoter will only use entrants personal details supplied for the administration of this promotion, and for any other purpose that is expressly consented to. Details of winners will be shared with Hi Mum! Said Dad and XSEM who work on behalf of Carling only to ensure the prize fulfilment.

16. Winners may be required to participate in reasonable unpaid publicity as specified by the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to use the winners name and county and publish those on www.carling.com and the Carling social media pages (Facebook and Twitter).

17. Winners of ‘They Score You Score’ are required to register in Carling Tap to claim prizes.

18. These Terms and Conditions, this promotion and any other dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

19. The Promoter does not intend to use this promotion in any way to encourage the excessive consumption of alcohol.

20. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry. Entries must not be submitted through agents or third parties.

21. The Promoters decisions shall be final and binding in all respects on all Entrants and the Promoter reserves the right not to enter into any correspondence with Entrants. Entries that do comply in full with these terms and conditions will be disqualified.

22. If the Promoter has grounds to suspect any Entrant or third party of cheating, deception or fraudulent conduct of any kind the Promoter reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any entrant, entry or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

23. The Promoter shall not be liable for any damage, loss, liability, or injury (save for personal injury or death caused by the Promoters negligence) caused by matters relating to the ‘They Score You Score’ promotion.

In addition to the general terms, the following prize-specific terms apply:
 

1. Participants will have the chance to win one (1) set of four (4) tickets per televised Premier League match every week. All ticket prizes allocated for the week will be given away.

2. Premier League tickets must be claimed (as above) within 48 hours of prize notification.

3. Up to six (6) winners per televised match will be awarded 4 (four) tickets.

4. Football tickets will be awarded to participants at random.

5. If you win Premier League Tickets, you will have the opportunity to select the Premier League Match you would like to attend from a list of Premier League Matches.

6. If you are unable to attend any matches from this list, unfortunately we are unable to supply any alternatives.

7. The Prize may be passed on to friends or relatives once you have chosen your fixture and received your physical tickets. You will still be held responsible to the fullest extent permitted by law for any actions involving the use of the tickets by the transferee. Tickets cannot be sold or taken as cash. If a prize is transferred to you, the terms and conditions apply equally to you as it you were the original prize winner. You cannot change any tickets that have already been allocated as the prize.

8. Winners will have 48hrs after being notified that they have won tickets to go through the claim process before the prize is no longer available to them.

9. Users will be able to choose from a list of up to the next available 10 fixtures that are a minimum of six weeks in advance to the day of winning the football tickets

10. You will not be able to select the away games of your chosen favourite team.

11. Once one winner has chosen a fixture, this fixture will no longer be available to other winners.

12. ‘Hi Mum! Said Dad’ and XSEM are agencies that work on behalf of Carling are responsible for the fulfilment of the Premier League tickets. Winners will be required to submit their details to ‘Hi Mum! Said Dad’ so that these can be passed on to XSEM, without these details, we are unable to fulfil the prize.

13. Once Premier League ticket winners have select a fixture they would like to attend and submitted the voucher with their details fully filled out they will contacted by XSEM within two weeks. They will either receive an email or a call from XSEM confirming the selection of their ticket and arranging delivery of these tickets.

14. Entry to the Premier League stadiums is subject to normal conditions of ticket entry. All tickets are “home” tickets and you must be a home or neutral supporter to attend the match. Away fans are not permitted in the “home” section of a Premier League stadium. Winners are subject to screening by Premier League football clubs ("Clubs") based on their conditions of entry and we are not liable if you or any person accompanying you is refused entry because you do not meet these conditions.

15. Each ticket is issued by the relevant Club subject to the terms and conditions of entry, which are available from the Club and will be provided to you with your Prize. The use of a ticket to enter a Club's stadium constitutes acceptance of that Club's terms and conditions of entry. The ticket shall remain at all times the property of the issuing Club.

16. Except mobile phones used for personal and private use only, you may not bring into (or use within) any Club’s stadium any equipment that is capable of recording or transmitting any audio, visual or audio-visual material or any information or data in relation to a match or any aspect of it.

17. The Clubs reserve the right to eject from a stadium any person who fails to comply with applicable terms or conditions of entry.

18. If you are the subject of a current Banning Order under the Football Spectators Act 1989 (as amended), you will be refused entry to the competition and to all Premier League Club stadiums.

19. If the ticket is obtained or used in breach of the terms or conditions of entry, it will be automatically void. The bearer will be refused entry and, if already in the stadium, will be ejected, in either case without refund.

20. Other than friends and family as stated above in point 6, you may not transfer the Prize to anybody. The unauthorised sale or disposal of tickets is a criminal offence under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, as amended by the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006.

21. Prizes will be delivered to addresses in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man. Tickets will be sent to arrive at least 2 days before the Premier League Fixture. Carling is not liable for delayed or non-delivery of Prizes for any reason beyond its control, including but not limited to loss or theft in transit or any failure by you to accept delivery of a Prize for any reason, or transferring the prize to another person with insufficient time for the tickets to arrive by post if collection at the stadium is not available. Tickets may be made available for collection at the stadium where the relevant match will take place if the tickets are unable to arrive by post before the match takes place. If you are required to collect your ticket at the stadium, you will be notified of any specific collection arrangements. If your tickets have not arrived within 5 days before your Premier League game please email carlingtapsupport@molsoncoors.com.

22. If you have not received your prize within 5 days prior to the Premier League fixture please contact carlingtapsupport@molsoncoors.com.

23. Name and county of the winner will be available by emailing carlingtapsupport@molsoncoors.com.

24. If we cannot contact you within reasonable measures over the following 14 days after tickets have been claimed, your chosen football tickets will no longer be available for you to receive. We will endeavour to contact you by phone and email, dependent on which contact details you have provided us with. We need to contact you to confirm your delivery details due to the high value of the tickets.

VIP Prizes available: Presentation of GOTM Trophy

  One (1) winner each month from September to May inclusive will win the opportunity for them and one (1) guest to present the Goal of the Month trophy to the Premier League football player who has won the award that month. Entering into this prize draw means you have a chance to win this prize each month. When the winning Carling Gola of the Month is selected each month, only users who support the team that the winning Premier League football player plays for will be valid for an entry into that month’s draw. The team that you support will be deemed as the team which you select in Carling Tap as your ‘favourite team’. Should you win and ‘submit’ more than one of these vouchers you will be entered each time into the draw. In order to submit your entry you must fill out all requested fields and ‘submit’ by the date at the bottom of the voucher or else your voucher will expire and you will no longer be able to enter this voucher into the prize draw. You must be 25 or older to be eligible to win this prize. The prize winner must make their own travel and accommodation arrangements. Travel expenses, spending money, food and drinks (other than expressly stated within these Terms and conditions) and all other expenditure are NOT included in the prize.

  1 x Premier League Trophy for the day

  One (1) individual winners will win the Premier League trophy for one (1) day (9am- 9pm). The winner will be drawn 01/12/2017 and the winner will be contacted by 6/12/17 to arrange a convenient day. To arrange a convenient day before the start of the 2018/19 Premier League season to bring the Trophy to your chosen venue, which will require Carling and Premier League approval before this request can be confirmed. The trophy can be taken to your house, work place or local pub (Carling must be stocked in local pub). If taking the Premier League Trophy to your workplace, then association to the Premier League must not be implied by the chosen workplace. All participants must be aged 18 or over. Security staff will be present with the trophy at all times. Security staff have the right to remove the Premier League trophy if they believe that the trophy may be damaged or stolen. All details requested on the prize draw entry voucher must be fully filled out for the voucher to be valid.

  The Ultimate Match Day Experience

  1. There is one (1) prize available.

2. The prize winner will receive the following prize package for the prize winner and up to 3 guests (who must be aged 18 years or over) to be fulfilled over the weekend of 9th/10th December: a. A behind-the-scenes tour of the football stadium b. A complimentary dinner with an ex-Premier League manager on 9th December 2017 (for up to £60 per person) which will be settled by the Promoter’s representative on the evening; c. Accommodation at a minimum 3* hotel, room only basis – up to two rooms will be booked on a single or twin basis to accommodate the winner and their guests; d. Travel costs for up to £250 per person – transport will be arranged by Promoter’s representative; e. Premier League home match tickets to a 2016/17 Premier League fixture. All tickets will be provided for the same game/club. f. Match day Tickets will be chosen by the promoter and non-exchangeable. The winner will be drawn on Sat 2nd Dec 2017 and notified by Mon 4th Dec 2017 by email/phone.

3. Entrants on the Carling Tap must ensure that the email account that they have used to enter is active and valid, and that they are contactable on the same.

4. Prize does not include spending money, subsistence costs and any other expenses. Any costs and expenses over and above those set out in paragraph 9 above will be at the winner’s and guest’s expense.

5. If prize winner decides to take less than 3 guests or no guests at all, the prize will be adjusted to suit the number of attendees. No refund or compensation will be given or transferred offer due to the reduction of participants.

6. Prize winner and their guests must be available all day on Saturday 9th December 2017 and Sunday 10th December 2017 to participate in the prize. There will be no alternative offered if prize winner or guests do not redeem all or part of their prize.

7. If Promoter is unable to provide tickets to a Premier League game on the weekend of 9th/10th December 2017 then Promoter will organise tickets at another time in line with the prize winner’s or guest’s availability – subject to ticket and game availability.

8. Premier League tickets cannot be sold, transferred, auctioned, used for commercial gain or exchanged for cash.

17. The prize is as stated only. No cash or other alternative in part or full will be offered in lieu of the specified prize. Prize is not transferable.

14. If the ticket is obtained or used in breach of the terms or conditions of entry, it will be automatically void. The bearer will be refused entry and, if already in the stadium, will be ejected, in either case without refund.

15. The unauthorised sale or disposal of tickets is a criminal offence under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, as amended by the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006.

16. With the exception of death or personal injury arising out of the Promoter's negligence or the negligence of its employees, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, all liability whatsoever on the part of the Promoter for any costs, expenses, losses, damages, liabilities, injury or disappointment including any loss of profits, business, contracts, revenues or anticipated savings and whether special, direct, indirect, consequential, suffered by the entrant howsoever arising in connection with the promotion are excluded.

  Ultimate Premier League Matchday Experience – With Sky Sports

  1. There is one (1) prize available. The prize winner will receive the following prize package for the prize winner and one guest (who must be aged 18 years or over) to be fulfilled during February 2018: a. Accommodation at a minimum 3* hotel, room only basis – one room will be booked on a single or twin basis to accommodate the winner and their guest b. 2. Prize does not include spending money, subsistence costs or any other expenses. Any costs and expenses over and above those set out in paragraph 1 above will be at the winner’s and guest’s expense.

3. If the prize winner decides to take no guests, the prize will be adjusted to suit the number of attendees. No refund, compensation or alternative prize will be given in the event of a reduction in participants.

4. Prize winner and their guests must be available for a weekend in February/March 2018 to participate in the prize. There will be no alternative offered if the prize winner or guest does not redeem all or part of their prize. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if the match is cancelled or postponed.

5. If the Promoter is unable to provide tickets to a Premier League game on a weekend in February or March 2018 then the Promoter will organise tickets at another time in line with the prize winner’s or guest’s availability – subject to ticket and game availability and the choice of fixture shall be at the Promoter’s discretion.

6. Premier League tickets cannot be sold, transferred, auctioned, used for commercial gain or exchanged for cash.

7. Entry to the Premier League stadiums is subject to normal conditions of ticket entry. All tickets are “home” tickets. The prize winner and guest are subject to screening by Premier League football clubs ("Clubs") based on their conditions of entry and Promoter is not liable if prize winner or any guest is refused entry because they do not meet these conditions.

8. Each ticket is issued by the relevant Club subject to the terms and conditions of entry, which are available from the Club and will be provided to prize winner with the prize. The use of a ticket to enter a Club's stadium constitutes acceptance of that Club's terms and conditions of entry. The ticket shall remain at all times the property of the issuing Club.

9. Except mobile phones used for personal and private use only, the prize winner and guest may not bring into (or use within) any Club’s stadium any equipment that is capable of recording or transmitting any audio, visual or audio-visual material or any information or data in relation to a match or any aspect of it.

10. The Clubs reserve the right to eject from a stadium any person who fails to comply with applicable terms or conditions of entry.

11. If the prize winner or guest are the subject of a current Banning Order under the Football Spectators Act 1989 (as amended), they will be refused entry to the stadium and to all Premier League Club stadiums.

1. This voucher entitles the holder to 1 (one) collectable video/or image (“Collectable”).

2. The voucher is only available to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
